They looks lame in thr 1970's when Leeds had them - they still look lame now - Yellow card for not having them on - as is the case for the removal of a shirt or downing of shorts!?

If you think about it. it was not difficult to see what was going to happen with these ties . the club would hardly have photo's of a player wearing them if they did not plan to market them at some point.

blues players will just wear them, the product belongs to the company, BCFC get £100k over 2 seasons for wearing them, that about £120 per player per match for just wearing these "taggy" things... about £1.30 per min!

no doubt will be in the blues shops, and via online direct, but the company will sell direct and via as many shops as poss.

but BCFC do not need "sales" to get the money, just wearing them is their side of deal, i would wear them for less! maybe even 50p per min! £30.00 per hour

I would not be surprised however, that by the end of the season, every player in the world cup is wearing them......... :ph43r:

...Birmingham City will be the first in the Premiership to be wearing the Sockatyes.

Can't imagine the players will be too happy with those 'wings' flapping about as they run upfield. I thought the way forward was to streamline kits - not add appendages. Crap idea.

yeah they are totally naff but people are missing the point. Blues have a deal which gives them 100k more a season than we had last year...if that means we are still a profitable business then who cares?

Blues can sponser everything..they can sponsor my season ticket seat for all i care....

if you dont like them dont buy them...but ffs dont slate the club for bringing in more revenue

Just a thought - but probably valid...
Can't find any reference to these on the official Premier League site, so have the FA Premier League sanctioned their use ??.
We all know what they can be like, so will refs be asking for players to remove them before games ???..

As I said - Just a thought...
