good news, I was quite worried about this from the reports id seen, hopefully he will be back to 100% by the startof the season (or as soon as - the partially collapsed lung really doesnt sound good)

Kenny's absence leaves a dilemma though - who else to play.

We could buy someone new if they are available and at the right price (I know noone that is at the moment though)

We could play Taylor or Tebs who can both do a decent job at CD and have a lot of experience.

Or we could try out some of the youth when there is relatively little pressure on them.

Toughie....

Taylor is looking like the only one fit for the start of the season to cover.

Tebily has a calf injury

Bruce Jnr and Oji both have injuries

That leaves Taylor and Paiter.

Unless one of the others recovers in time, we dont really have a lot of choice. Injuries this eealy could be a good thing though - get the out of the way before the season starts!

Dellas is available on a free transfer, that dosent sound like a bad price. Imo O'Shea or Wes Brown would be worth a look as well either on loan or transfer. KRO

i do sometimes wonder why we signed tiny and let purse go...he wasn't that bad imo, and he fought 100% for us - on second thoughts, maybe thats why he had to go....but you get my drift, he was touted as arsenal/england metarial 3 seasons ago, now he's gone to cardiff for next to nowt...whats going on???

Good opportunity for Taylor to show us if he is going to be KCs long term replacement maybe.

Purse was being touted when he was performing really well in the 1st division. Unfortunately he got 'found out' when we got promoted. Too clumsy at prem level imo.
