Couple of things that I've seen today that I find conflicting. The Leeds United sock garters have returned and Karren has gone into print to say that Birmingham City "continually strives to be progressive and innovative in it's business." I for one don't really call this innovation but my conflict follows a visit today to the Birmingham City Superstore. Who the bloody hell thought of calling that shite hole a "super store". Where's the innovation here my friends. The whole store has the atmosphere of a morgue and the interior design was quite clearly managed by the acclaimed consultants Charles & Wonder. Besides the replica kits the other items of clothing are just cheap tat that would not be out of place in a Jumble Sale. Who the hell purchases this tat, sticks a BCFC badge on it and puts it up for sale - is it Charles & Wonder again? Blue tee shirts with the God and number 8 on them - cheap and tacky - probably designed by the local kindergarten. Casual shirts - both in blue and a check - with the BCFC badge on them - you can't even read what's on the badge. It's a bloody disgrace. It's 2005, we're in the Permiership and we have a "Super" store selling cheap tat that would never find it's way into my house. The Manager / or whoever is responsible needs to wake up and smell the coffee because this is clearly not good enough. The worst Club Shop I have ever been in. If you want some ideas of how to bring this store into modern times just get in contact - I will only charge a small and reasonable fee. In essense; shite products in a Supershite store. Any comments? Thanks for listening and I'm glad I've got that off my chest! |

He is right it is a shite hole and the merchandise is cheap and tacky, the commerical dept buy cheap and price it high, and some of us are stupid enough to buy it???? If you ever go to away games nip into the club shops of the clubs you visit and you will see just how poor the Blues "superstore"(PMSL at that name) really is, its like the catering its in the midland comb league,(sorry midland comb). |

I went into the QPR club shop last Saturday and It was awesome, they had soooo much stuff in there to choose from, and it all looked of very good quality. Are we a Premier League club with a League 2 side club shop ? (No offence to League 2 clubs :D ) |

I have changed my whole wardrobe and for the forseeable future I will be wearing shorts to compliment this innovative idea. |

lmao @ dany.... and the last time i tried to use "scunthorpe" the swear filter cut out the middle letters!! :o anyway, stop moaning and buy some stuff. if people bought their stuff from the club instead of jjb we'd have more money in the kitty and, who knows, get a better shop!! ;) |

Again, somone else that has missed the point. I have bough my fair share from the Club shuop but it still doesn't disguise the fact the clothing is shite. As for your comment about buying the stuff from the store to get more in the kitty and get a better shop - let's turn that around and get a better shop with quality products and then no doubt people would buy more. It's all about selling a good product and not shite. |

I think the logic would dictate that if the stuff is rubbish, but people are buying it, then the club feels no pressure to change. Personally I'm just surprised they miss a trick by allowing the season DVD to come out so late each year... |

i have often thought that Blues as a whole miss oportunities in this field. On the whole the clothing has been less than brilliant in past. Blues have improved loads on the merchandise available. Remember what the Club Video's used to be like...LMAO The clothes could be better set out and the atmosphere needs lifting. Amazing when you think that the Gold's have clothing boutiques. A little imagination into the fact that it's a sporting/leisure goods shop would go a long long way  |

Here here salad. Go to any other store in whatever league, and every single one i have been in is better than ours. Our merchandise is indeed just cheap, tacky, poorly made, awful looking shite. We are about to become a top ten Premiership side ( ), so I ask you all to go to Manure or Arse or Chelsea etc etc and look at there shops. It will honestly make you laugh out loud when you finally realise how crap ours is. I am totally with Pachsu on this one. |

the club shop aint exactly the big money spinner for blues, after replica kit which most people buy else where there aint that much sold, blues aint gonna invest heavily in it it would upset the profit margin, which is why blues dont invest in catering either !!!!! because that is a load of overpriced shi-ite as well |

Our mechandise is poor quality and there is very little choice. I am sure if there was a larger range of good quality merchadise on offer, then more people would shop at the Club Shop. It is a poor effort compared to other Premier league clubs. We cant really compare our stores with the likes on Man U and Chelsea as we are very unlikely to get a high level of foreegin tourists coming to see our ground and purhcase our merchandise! |
