I have to say they're both as bad as eachother.

Neither has what you want when you go to get it.

As I've ranted on about in my previous Scunthorpe thread the quality of the clothing in the club store is cheap, tatty shite. If the food has been put in a poll alongside the clothing I can only assume that it must be the pits that gives the sh*ts.

Just back from Italy recently amd the quality of the football gear over there is amazing. Sheer class. Id love to see Blues with a similiar range of class gear. Can we not get Lonsdale for the kits and training gear and another manufacturer for quality, wearable gear. Bought a pair of Roma jeans and a Lazio shirt. Quality is amazing! :)

From one of my articles last year when I was a tad depressed after the Pompey match!

"I stand there with my arms out like the Angel of the North whilst some young bored guy in a fluorescent jacket pats me down like I have a communicable disease. I look along the line in abject depression at the row of respectable middle aged men all performing the same ritual. Has anything dangerous ever been found? There is a big sign outside the ground with a list of banned items, no knives, no nuclear warheads, no anthrax etc. The clue is there.

My son goes to the shop to buy a Birmingham City wristband for £2 with two shiny pound coins only to be told he has to wait because they don’t have any change! I already feel like going home! If they could have told me there and then it was going to be a mind numbing nil-nil draw I would have gone and watched Ant and Dec!

I read the grotesquely over-priced and dull £3 match day programme and find on page fifty that there is going to be a special draw at half time to win tickets for the Liverpool match that took place on Tuesday 12th February. Apparently it’s to thank us! For two months ago?

I try to converse with the catering staff but after numerous attempts I give up and return to my seat. I did try pointing but that didn’t work either. I did succeed once but the hot pie was cold and the cold drink was warm. Oh and the till didn’t work!"

Gotta say the catering, but the quality of merchandise comes a very close second.

Can't fault the chicken balti pies tho.

Pepsi always flat.

Beer, nasty (and this from an alchoholic)

Haven't brought myself to try anything else.

mmmmm, now what else can we criticise??? i'm sure we'll think of something eh?
you can rely on wildy or grncoma to bring it all down....for those of us who attended the game at derby recently this poll wouldn't apply ;most of the eating/drinking hatches were shut!!!!
but hey, my apologies for not slagging my club off............... ;)

The catering is so bad it's funny.

How can they run out of stuff half an hour before kick off when they've had two weeks to stock up ???

chill...

it is fun....

but the hot dogs are not proper hot dogs,

a proper hot dog is not half a crusty baguette with a slimy piece of half warmed up bit of "something" hanging out... and is not £2.40

i have informed the "power" that be.... so fingers crossed that will improve

Not sure what your grip is with Catering

I sit in the main stand, and there are always plenty of nice hot pies and hot drinks.
(I have had far worse at higher prices on the Motorway)
I sometimes get invited in the director’s box and the catering there is Fine.

The Club Shop at the ground has always met my needs; I have never been in the city centre shop.

So sorry I can’t join in your poll.

The clothing (not the replica kits) in the store is cheap, tatty shite - how many more times do I have to say this?
I for one would buy more from the store if it was half decent. There are items of cheap Oxfam type style of clothing in there with the BCFC badge on and you cannot even read the writing on the badge - it's a bloody disgrace.
It has the potential of being such a money spinner but obviously the Club must feel that we don't mind paying loads of wedge for shite clobber.
There are so many things you could do and so many more people would buy generating more money for the club we all love - decent marketing not exploitation.
Every Year I will buy, for example, new Fred Perry/Ralph Lauren style polo shirts and would buy from BCFC if there was more of colour / design range with a small BCFC badge on there instead of a polo horse/alligator etc etc - it's an opportunity that needs to be looked at. This year I bought half a dozen new polo shirts - it don't take a maths expert to work out what money could be spent does it????
And no, for the plonkers that think I'm just looking for an excuse to have a pop, I see this as a great benefit for the Club and something for the fans to be proud of.
With regards the bait -I may have the odd pie in the ground but normally wait until after the game for a pint and a Balti - normally go to the Academy on the Coventry Road - only been open a few years but very good. What are others thoughts on a good Balti venue.
