http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-india-24964807 Ugh. Football really is getting pathetic and far, far too greedy. FIFA must act surely?! I reckon Qatar officials will tell FIFA they will sort it out, FIFA will take some more dosh and tell the public they're working with Qatar to improve conditions. Conditions will improve slighty, workers will still die but no one will find out, and FIFA will get their stupid 2022 Qatar World Cup. Astonishing fact is that if the current rate of fatalities continue, more people will die building the 2022 World Cup then players actually playing in it!! Surely as a player yourself you'd feel sick to the stomach thinking hundreds died building the stadium you're playing in?! A great comment in the comments section below the article states how every is in up roar about the players playing in this 'ridiculous heat', yet no one is talking about the workers who have to work 16 hour days, everyday, in the soaring heat. Truly horrendous. |
